Here are some tips for diffusing essential oils safely in your home:
- Make sure that the diffuser is placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not diffuse for more than 30 minutes at a time.

I am fairly new to diffusing essential oils. I am a bit confused as to why it is recommended only run them for 1/2 an hour. My diffuser holds 500 ml and therefore can run for a long time. It has timer options for one hour, 4 hour and 8 hour. I have run a lavender mix all night long although I only use a few drops. I like having the extra moisture added to the air without having to run a larger humidifier. Please explain.
