Shopping on Amazon is awesome! I love it. Amazon offers a vast availability of products with amazing deals and price points. Not to mention, fast shipping and great customer service. It’s no wonder why Amazon is the #1 online marketplace today.
With the rising popularity of essential oils, Amazon also lists a multitude of essential oil starter kits for sale. Countless sellers compete for YOUR essential oil spending dollars using sexy price points and good marketing language.
However, not every starter kit sold on Amazon should enter your house.
This post contains affiliate links, which means if you make a purchase through these links, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Read my full disclosure policy here.
This article gives you a quick overview of the most common essential oil brand names currently selling on Amazon. I’ll also tell you quick and to-the-point why I do or do not endorse them.
How Does Amazon Work Anyway?
Amazon is an online marketplace. It is an interface between a buyer and a seller.
While Amazon.com does also act as a seller for some products, around 50% of the items sold on Amazon are sold by 3rd party companies (as stated by statista.com).
These 3rd party companies can be anyone! They could already have a brick-and-mortar store and are using Amazon as their online shop. Or, they use it in addition to their own online shop. Or, they are a simple family business that is hitting it large on Amazon with the huge reach it offers and incredible opportunity for distribution.
All in all, Amazon is a great place to shop online. However, it’s important to know that the items are not primarily sold, owned, or endorsed by Amazon. A lot of them are simply sold by any kind of small business that can make the marketplace work for themselves.

Which One Should You Buy?
When buying essential oils, look for a brand with solid product quality. Since the essential oils industry is not regulated by the FDA, a lot of the product descriptions are simply marketing language.
Most importantly, beware of claims to ingest essential oils as that is not something anyone should do without proper guidance by a trained aromatherapy professional.
That said, there are definitely high-quality essential oil kits sold on Amazon every day! Read on to find out which ones they are.

Radha Beauty
[usr=3]
Radha Beauty essential oils are bottled in the USA and advertised as premium quality with cruelty free production. Oils are sourced from farms all over the world.
Radha Beauty are labels their essential oils as “100% pure, therapeutic grade” but if you’ve been around the oily life for even just a short amount of time, you’ll know that “therapeutic grade” doesn’t mean anything. It’s a marketing term and anyone can use it regardless of the oil they sell. No governing body monitors that terminology or certifies people in it’s use.
If you further research Radha Beauty, you cannot find more information on their essential oils quality, selection, or production practices. Also, no 3rd party batch quality testing reports are available.
To me, this suggests that essential oils is just part of what Radha Beauty sells, rather than their one and only core mission (as it is for example in a brand like Plant Therapy).
Radha Beauty’s most popular starter kit includes 9 x 10ml bottles of popular essential oils such as Lavender and Tea tree, which are highly useful oils for a beginner indeed. This selection of oils makes getting started with aromatherapy wellness a breeze, it’s true. The selection of oils for the starter kit is perfect. Still, because of the lack of supporting documentation on the oils quality and sourcing, I would not buy Radha Beauty essential oils myself.
Natrogix Essential Oils
[usr=3.5]
Natrogix essential oils also offers a finely selected essential oil starter kit including the most popular and versatile 9 x 10mL essential oils.
Compared to Radha Beauty, they do say the oils are 3rd party GC/MS certified, but the test results are not publicly available. Therefore, it only marginally satisfies my need for quality control in essential oil sourcing practices. Natrogix oils are also sourced from all over the world and bottled in the USA.
That said, trying to dig up more information on Natrogix essential oils on their official website doesn’t leave me feeling confident. Based on their headquarters address, it looks like a Chinese company with an American distribution office.
On the bright side, with your purchase of Natrogix oils, you will receive a free booklet of 200 essential oil recipes using these 9 most popular essential oils on the planet, which is definitely extremely handy!
I’ll leave it up to you here, on whether you trust the Natrogix essential oils brand enough to give them your spending money.
Artizen Essential Oils
[usr=2.5]
Artizen offers the highest number of essential oil bottles that you get with your starter kit purchase. It’s a whopping 14 bottles, yet they are only 5 mL bottles compared to 10 mL offered by everyone else. While it’s a fun starter kit assembly, beware of that math!
5 mL is a totally fine size to try an essential oil and see if you like it. It just doesn’t mean that the whole overall starter kit is all that much of a better price point.
The Artizen popular starter kit includes the basic best essential oils (the same as in all of the other kits, per table below), plus a few additional essential oil blends. Blends are ready-made mixes that should address a specific issue, such as sleep, relaxation, or muscle aches. I think it’s nice to have some blends in a starter kit, as it makes beginning with essential oils incredibly easy!
Artizen essential oils quality information is hard to dig up, in fact, it’s not really available. Their “About Us” page on their company website is extremely bare and doesn’t look very well thought-out to me. Artizen doesn’t mention any GC/MS at all, yet they do label their products as “100% Pure & Natural”. As discussed above, that does not mean anything is regulated or approved, it’s simply a marketing term.
For me – I will not buy Artizen brand of essential oils.
Lagunamoon Essential Oils
[usr=1.0]
Lagunamoon offers a very approachable 6-set of 10 mL essential oil bottles at a cheap price.
They’re also right up there in line with everyone else boasting the “100% pure, therapeutic grade” – which we by now know – is simply smart marketing. No GC/MS reports are mentioned, therefore, they are simply using the same marketing spin on their labeling, making it tough for customers to differentiate quality points without doing a lot more reading.
But what completely turned me off, is that Lagunamoon doesn’t even have their own company website. Any combination of Google searches didn’t get me to a “Lagunamoon” brand website.
Lagunamoon receives a no-vote from me. There are so many better, more reputable essential oil companies that sell beautiful essential oils (on Amazon, too!) – you don’t need to buy Lagunamoon.
Plant Therapy Essential Oils
[usr=5]
As one of the reigning champions of our coveted top 10 best essential oil companies charts, Plant Therapy also sells great quality essential oil starter kits on Amazon.
The brand is fully GC/MS tested with reports available for download on their website. It’s also a brand that sells essential oils as its core mission since 2011, so definitely not a new kid on the block.
You can read my full Plant Therapy company review here. They’re definitely awesome, and definitely recommended!
Edens Garden Essential Oils
Edens Garden is also a long-standing brand name on our list of best essential oil brands, and our next choice for a trustworthy, high quality essential oils starter kit that you can buy on Amazon.
GC/MS reports are available for download on each single oil, directly from their website. Try downloading the Lavender report here. The company was established in the early 2000’s and has since grown into an incredibly popular and stylish essential oils brand.
The quality is there, the selection is there, and I’m certain if you order Edens Garden oils, you will have a fantastic starter kit experience.
REVIVE Essential Oils
REVIVE used to be available by direct purchase on their company website only. However, they recently started selling on Amazon. This is great news for all online shoppers as it is ever so convenient to shop with Amazon!
The REVIVE starter kit offers a few options for customization, such as ordering with or without the diffuser. It includes 10 oils of 10 ml size, including popular Frankincense, Copaiba and “Immunity Boost” blend.

Final Thoughts
Essential oils are awesome! They can help you with your health and well-being – and they’re a beautiful and inspiring item to have around your home. Now that we’re down to only 3 Amazon essential oil brands I’d recommend, here is their direct comparison:
Yes, you can buy quality essential oils on Amazon. That said, please be careful about which company you choose to support. Do research off Amazon as well, and then browse back to your Amazon app to look for the brand you’re confident in buying.
Happy shopping,
